Board & Train

Our Board and Train programs offer the most immersive and effective path to transforming your dog’s behavior. By placing your dog in a professional, structured environment with daily hands-on guidance, we are able to build the consistent habits and clear communication necessary for lasting results. Whether we are addressing basic manners or complex behavioral challenges, our goal is to ensure your dog remains focused and calm—even in high-distraction environments. We handle the heavy lifting of repetition and structure, then pass that confidence on to you through comprehensive 'go-home' lessons and ongoing support, ensuring a better everyday life for both you and your canine companion.

  • Foundation & Obedience Starter

    • Best For: Dogs needing basic obedience, structure, and better manners.

    • Ideal for: Pulling on leash, jumping on people, and lack of consistency.

    • Outcome: A dog who understands the basics and has a solid foundation to continue improving at home.

    Included: Training collar, leash, e-collar/remote, progress updates, and a go-home lesson. ($500 non-refundable deposit required)

  • Obedience + Real Life Reliability

    • Best For: Owners who want more consistency and reliability, especially around distractions.

    • Ideal for: Dogs who "know commands" but don't listen, or have moderate issues like mouthing or jumping in public.

    • Outcome: A dog who listens consistently and behaves better both at home and in public.

    Included: Training collar, leash, e-collar/remote, field trip, progress updates, and a go-home lesson. ($500 non-refundable deposit required)

  • Advanced Obedience & Minor Behavioral Modification

    • Best For: Dogs needing deeper behavior work and advanced control.

    • Ideal for: Minor reactivity (dogs/people), anxiety, resource guarding, or high-energy/strong-willed dogs.

    • Outcome: A calmer, more focused dog with significantly improved behavior and responsiveness.

Puppy Training

Early training leads to lifelong results. Our Puppy Board & Train is designed for puppies aged 16 weeks to 6 months, offering a structured environment to build confidence and prevent unwanted behaviors before they start. We focus on age-appropriate development, prioritizing safety and trust while building essential skills at the right pace for your puppy. Give your newest family member the best possible start with clear guidance, professional consistency, and a foundation built on focus and calm.

  • Confidence & Consistency

    • Best For: Owners who want a strong, reliable start and professional guidance during the critical developmental months.

    • Requirements: Puppies must be up to date on vaccinations. Honest disclosure of health and behavior history is required.

    • Outcome: A more confident, responsive puppy with strong foundational habits and improved focus.

      Puppy Curriculum Includes:

      • Foundations: Potty routine foundation and crate training.

      • Behavior: Nipping, biting, and chewing prevention.

      • Socialization: Proper exposure and building confidence in new environments.

      • Obedience: Sit, Down, Place, Recall, and Wait.

      • Leash Work: Introduction to the leash and walking manners.

      • Mental Focus: Calm behavior and impulse control.

Private Lesson Programs

Our private lessons are designed for hands-on owners who want to be directly involved in their dog’s training journey. These programs focus on building a bridge of communication between you and your dog, providing you with the tools and techniques to lead with confidence. Please Note: All lessons will take place at Cassandra’s Canine Training. Success in these programs depends on owner consistency; results are driven by the work put in at home between our weekly sessions.

    • Best For: Owners who want to build a solid obedience foundation and address behaviors like leash pulling, jumping, and general lack of manners.

      How It Works: Three weekly private sessions at Cassandra’s Canine Training. Each session builds on the last with step-by-step coaching, homework, and a customized training plan.

      What We Work On: Foundational obedience commands, leash handling, and establishing structure at home.

      What’s Included: Hands-on instruction and professional training tools (leash, training collar, and e-collar/remote). ($250 non-refundable deposit required)

  • Best For: Owners seeking deeper results, more accountability, and help with challenging behaviors like minor reactivity, anxiety, or stubbornness.

    How It Works: Five weekly private sessions. The first four take place at Cassandra’s Canine Training, with the final session held in your home (within a reasonable distance) to address real-world scenarios.

    What We Work On: Reliable obedience around distractions, advanced behavior work, and building calm habits in everyday situations.

    What’s Included: Everything in the 3-week program plus increased accountability, a field trip (if applicable), and in-home coaching. ($250 non-refundable deposit required)

Exclusive to graduates of Cassandra’s Canine Training programs.

To maintain the highest quality of safety and consistency, these services are reserved specifically for clients who have completed a Board and Train or Private Lesson program. We are proud to offer continued support to our graduate pack to ensure long-term success and a familiar, structured environment for your dog.

  • Advanced Progress & Fine-Tuning

    • Great For: Strengthening obedience, working through new challenges, adding advanced skills, and maintaining professional accountability.

    • Details: Perfect for clients who want to keep progressing or fine-tune specific behaviors after their initial program.

    • Outcome: Continued progress and long-term reliability.

    (Please Note: All lessons will take place at Cassandra’s Canine Training.)

  • Training in Your Real Environment

    • Great For: Household manners, boundary settings, multi-dog dynamics, and addressing specific issues where they actually happen.

    • Details: Take your dog's training to the next level by working directly in your home.

    • Outcome: Better behavior where it matters most—your everyday life.

  • Tune-Ups & Accountability

    • Great For: Reinforcing commands, fixing small regressions, rebuilding consistency, or navigating seasonal/lifestyle changes.

    • Details: Even well-trained dogs benefit from occasional tune-ups to keep them sharp. These can be added to any boarding stay.

    • Outcome: A dog that stays consistent, responsive, and reliable over time.

  • Drop-Off Professional Reinforcement

    • Great For: Busy schedules, reinforcement of obedience, maintaining structure, and consistent professional handling.

    • Details: You drop your dog off and we handle the training for the day.

    • Outcome: Faster progress with less pressure on your schedule.

  • Structured Care You Can Trust

    • Includes: Consistent rules and expectations, structured routines, and reinforcement of previous training.

    • Details: This is not traditional boarding. Training standards and structure are maintained during your dog's stay so they don't lose progress while you are away. Please inquire well in advance, as availability depends entirely on our current training capacity.

    • Outcome: You come home to the same well-mannered dog—not one who has regressed.
